Azura Bane

Azura Bane

Human (?!) Necromancer, Cohort of Hanos

Appearance: Azura is breathtakingly beautiful, with a warm complexion, red hair, and striking blue eyes. At the same time, she dresses to mostly conceal her appearance, claiming a curse upon her people can make them appear frightening to others. Most of the time, Azura present herself fully concealed except for her trademark blue eyes piecing through her veil.

Personality: Enamored with Hanos to the point of over-protection, Azura shows interest in whatever he is doing. She doesn’t enjoy unwanted attention upon herself, however, and angers quickly when it comes. Azura feels innately hostile towards Xax and is sure the feeling is being returned. Otherwise, she has eyes only for Hanos.

Traits: For a necromancer, Azura seems consumed by fire in all its forms. She talks about it, plays with it, and is adept with many fire-based spells.

Backstory: Azura claims to have been on a transport spelljammer that passed too close to the way station when she was taken. Having lost her spellbook, she quickly learned the secrets of surviving in the prison and ventured out occasionally but still avoided contact with anyone else. Only upon meeting Hanos and seeing how full of life he was did she finally rise to the occasion to try and escape. For now, she serves Hanos willingly and intends to protect him fiercely, especially from suspicious individuals like Xax.
